Community development workers and volunteers have been thanked for their "vital" work and their "staggering" output amidst unprecedented challenges.

PPN funding increase announced at 10-year anniversary gathering

From next January, each PPN will receive over €100,000 in core funding from the Department of Rural and Community Development - more than double the original allocation of €50,000 each in 2015 and an increase of almost 20% on 2024.

Three cheers for the Rural Social Scheme, now supporting rural communities for 20 years

Tús team in Meath develop prototype ‘screenhouse’ made from old Covid screens

In Co Meath, the Tús community crew took the old Covid screens that once divided us and used them to make a greenhouse (screenhouse) that can be used in community gardens.
